Ari Irving is a New Mexico Painter and Illustrator. Graduate from Savannah College of Art & Design with a B.F.A in Painting and Illustration. Ari specializes in interior installations using texture, color, and scale to create an immersive environment. An experienced Artist with a demonstrated history of working in the fine art industry.

The work explores the relationship between color field and transcendentalist painting, inspired by the idea of capturing light and color from the places I hold dear. The scale of the work creates an immersive environment- inviting the viewer to be transported into a stillness that is both contemplative and meditative. The work is both atmospheric and encompassing, free from objective context thus allowing color to become the subject in itself.
