My Elegant Couple is an elegant figurative bronze sculpture in teal patina. Depending on the style of your interior, this modern and graceful anniversary sculpture gift in dark turquoise, green, teal patina will add a conversation piece to the room.  All my sculptures are real cast bronze and mounted on a natural travertine stone base.  Therefore and because of its unique attributes the Elegant Couple is sold as a “one of a kind” work.  Its measurements are 8” in total height. It is the ideal anniversary gift and a beautiful table-top statue for the artful home. The 8th year of marriage is the traditional bronze anniversary. They say the modern is 19 years. However, I think it does not matter which year this is always a beautiful present to renew your vows or show how much love is present in your home.
This pair is on sale, the stone was carved to accommodate the male figures crossed legs.

Notes:

All my larger sculptures come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which is dated, signed and numbered. The COA is a legal document to keep with your records. If you need more than the invoice or an appraisal for insurance values please inquire in a separate email. The signature and numbers are under their seat and are not visible. An image of the marks will be supplied.

I discounted the price of the sculpture due to an indention in the stone. The male figure would not sit nicely otherwise. You won’t notice it but it is important to point out. All bronze sculptures have their unique attributes and although they are editions no two are really alike. Especially the organic and hand selected stone mounts make them even more unique.

This loving elegant pair is not expandable to add children figures. Please be aware of this with purchase.

Keep in mind that the process from sculpting, to mold making wax and foundry work takes considerable amount of time. It might be 3 months and for larger sculptures  or outdoor statues even longer. (see the bronze process description in the studio page http://yennycocqsculp.wpengine.com/in-the-studio/ ).  If you are in a rush I might have a few interesting works in the studio or with one of my galleries. Please inquire.
Although my elegant figurative bronze sculpture in teal is mounted on travertine stone base you could commission a similar sculpture pair without a stone base or with a different look plinth.

Materials
The sculptures are created using traditional lost wax casting. Only the highest fine art quality bronze is used. The figures are individually finished in either classic black patina with polished highlights, brushed bronze, or silver-plated bronze.

Size
The statues come in miniature size for the shelf, in table top size, or in various sizes for larger spaces or the sculpture garden. For example, the measurement of the small figures from head to toe without the base is 4.5” for the figures (Caress, The Two of Us). The regular small base measures approx. 4 x 3 x 2″. Horizontal or vertical placement depends on the figures chosen.

Expedited shipping, please inquire. International rates (UPS) vary and the recipient is responsible for import duties, customs and taxes in their home country. Please provide your phone number and a working email for UPS international shipping. The artwork is declared in customs as original art.

Stone Bases

Our natural stone bases are available as optional additions to your purchase of each set of the couple or family figures. Each stone base is unique and the best will be selected for each sculpture set. The bases are subject to availability; a similar base might be substituted. The coloration and texture of the bases varies. Because the rock is natural, minor imperfections may exist.

The bases available are: tan limestone, gray limestone. Upon request also white, carrara marble and black, nero marquina marble. The figures can be mounted or unmounted on their chosen stone base. Please select the base and mounting option.
